# Launchpad

The launchpad is a place where LGG holders get the opportunity to invest in the companies that didn't win the funding round with us. The plan is that this will be a set amount of coins available per LGG NFT owned in exchange for their investment.

For example there could be 100k tokens that the company want to provide for a discounted, pre release, price of this token in order to fund their project. Each LGG holder will get the chance to buy a percentage of those 100k tokens, first come first served until all the tokens have been sold. Once the launchpad funding has finished, the company will release the tokens to each of the participating LGG holders. All of this will be done automatically via a smart contract.
